Achiever of Industrial Excellence Annual Awards Ceremony was
successfully concluded on 08th August 2006 at Colombo Hilton
under the patronage of the Hon. Kumara Welgama the Minister
of Industries. The Guests of Honour were Hon. Karu Jayasuriya,
M.P., Deputy Leader of UNP and Mr. W. T. Ellawala, Chairman,
Janashakthi Insurance Company Ltd. Ceremony attended by over
450 guests, included Foreign Diplomats, Heads of Leading Companies,
Banks, Government Officials and Guests/Winners from other
SAARC Countries.
Kaleni Cables
Ltd, which won the Silver Award at National Level Large Category
in the 2005 contest, was adjudged the National Level Large
Category Gold winner in the 2006 “Achiever” contest.
