1. To all Trade Chambers:
   
   Services of Trade Facilitation Office Canada (TFOC) are now available for interested exporters of Sri Lanka to register on line their trade inquiries and contact details. TFOC is a government organisation that assist developing countries to access to the Canadian market. Once exporters are registered their products and contact details would be available for Canadian importers. Following is the procedure to be followed for on-line registration.
   
   To register with TFOC, eligible companies simply proceed as follows:
   
   1. Go to www.tfoc.ca
   2. Enter the site via the “English” button under “Exporting to Canada”
   3. Click on “Register Now” at right side of page.
   4. Proceed to Step 1 by clicking on “Company Details”
   5. Enter all available information and ensure that all required fields (indicated by **) are completed
   
   Step 1: Once they have successfully completed this step, they will receive an automatic notice by email advising them that they are now registered. Thereafter they can enter the rich content section of the site using their User Name and Password.\\
   
   Step 2: of the registration process enables them to add products which, if accepted, will be included in TFOC searchable database (i.e. an importer looking for products they offer will be directed to their on-line company profile with contacts, product description, etc.). They can also manage their profile on-line, making any changes to their information as necessary. If the company has at least one year’s export experience, they will also be eligible to have their export offer published in our “Import Info e-newsletter” sent out to registered Canadian buyers. Their offer will be linked to their on-line profile which is maintained at our website.
   
   Note: Although not up quite yet, Step 3 will enable registrants to enhance their profile with a limited number of supporting documents such as product photos and price lists.

2. The Jaipur Jewellery Show will take place this year from the 22nd to the 25th of December. After successful negotiations with the Indian authorities we have been able to organize a Sri Lanka Pavillion at this prestigious show. The show is currently in it's fourth year and is the second largest in India hosting 300 booths and based on last years figures an anticipated 30,000 visitors.    We envisage being able to accommodate around ten to twelve participant at the Pavillion comfortably.
